Too much traffic to the Hamptons. Too many trees in the Hudson valley (I recognize it’s beautiful there but the trees make me a little nervous). And the the Jersey Shore? One too many wife beaters on those muscle men.

But the Poconos I’ve never checked out. Truth be told, I was unclear as to where this area even was. But after speaking with Brian Drum from the Lake Naomi Club, I’ve got a hankering to check it out.

I felt a bit awkward talking about vacations and nooky in front of all those people hard at work in their office cubes. They were amenable enough but I could tell they needed that Poconos vacation worse than I do.
